Varroc Appoints Avinash Chintawar as COO for Business I

Former Bosch Chassis Systems India Managing Director joins Varroc's leadership team to oversee operations vertical, bringing extensive experience in operational excellence and sustainable manufacturing practices.

Varroc Engineering Limited, a global tier-1 automotive component supplier, has appointed Avinash Chintawar as Chief Operating Officer for Business I, effective October 15, 2025. Chintawar will report directly to Arjun Jain, Whole Time Director and CEO of Business I.

In his new role, Chintawar will be responsible for managing the Operations Vertical within Business I, with a mandate to strengthen operational efficiencies, enhance performance metrics, and align operations with the company's long-term strategic objectives.

Chintawar brings significant industry experience to Varroc, having most recently served as Managing Director of Bosch Chassis Systems India Private Limited and Chairman of Bosch India Foundation. His career with the Bosch Group spans multiple senior leadership positions, including Director of Operations at Robert Bosch Bamberg in Germany, Technical Plant Manager at Bosch Nashik, and Managing Director at Bosch Electrical Drives India Private Limited.

Chintawar holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from IGNOU. He has also completed ICWA (Inter) certification.

The appointment comes as Varroc continues to strengthen its operational capabilities amid evolving challenges in the global automotive sector. The company, founded in 1988, manufactures E-mobility solutions, body systems, lighting solutions, HMI solutions, ICE powertrain, and advanced electronics for major original equipment manufacturers worldwide.

Varroc reported group income of ₹81,718 million from continued operations in FY25. The company operates 37 manufacturing facilities globally, supported by seven R&D centers and a workforce of over 6,100 employees, including more than 750 R&D engineers. Varroc has filed over 120 patents and its shares are listed on the National Stock Exchange and Bombay Stock Exchange.
