Honda Crosses 10 Million Two-Wheeler Sales Milestone in North India
The automaker plans portfolio expansion across mid-size and higher-displacement segments to meet demand.
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) announced that it has achieved a cumulative sales milestone of 10 million two-wheeler units in North India on 27 May 2026. According to the company, the region, which encompasses Delhi, Haryana, Chandigarh, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Jammu & Kashmir, and Ladakh, contributed approximately 15% to HMSI’s overall sales for FY26.
To support its regional operations, HMSI operates a service network consisting of more than 1,000 customer touchpoints across these northern states and union territories.
"Reaching the 10 million milestone in North India reflects how deeply two-wheelers are embedded in everyday mobility across the region, particularly beyond the large urban centres," said Mutsuo Usui, Director of Sales & Marketing at HMSI. "Our focus has been on building consistent access and reliability over time, and we see this continuing as customer expectations evolve."
