The investment required is ₹335.1 crore, to be financed through internal accruals, and the capacity is to be added within 18 months. The company cited growth in demand and improving its manufacturing footprint in India as the rationale.

The filing does not specify how the additions are split across the three locations.
Federal-Mogul Goetze (India) Limited was established as a joint venture with Goetze-Werke of Germany, and manufactures pistons and piston rings, among other automotive components, for two-, three- and four-wheelers in Indian and international markets.

Tenneco Inc. merged with Pegasus Merger Co., a subsidiary of Pegasus Holdings III, LLC, on November 17, 2022. For the quarter ended September 30, 2025, the company reported standalone revenue of ₹48,128 lakh and profit after tax of ₹5,112 lakh, equal to about 10.6 percent of revenue.
