Corrit Electric's last-mile delivery vehicle, Transit, has recently received homologation from the International Centre for Automotive Technology (iCAT), paving the way for the vehicle's commercial launch.
Unveiled at the Auto Expo last year, the Transit is built on a fast-charging and modularity platform, engineered to meet the diverse needs of modern delivery services, the press release noted.
Mayur Misra, Director and CEO of Corrit Electric said, "Our vehicle is a game-changer for fleet operators, offering a long range of up to 130 kilometers and its quick charging capability reduces downtime by enabling a charge of 0-80% in about 30 minutes. This makes it an ideal choice for businesses requiring reliable and rapid delivery solutions."
With its focus on establishing a strong presence, Corrit Electric aims to expand its operations to 10 cities within the year, with Delhi NCR as its primary hub. This strategic move will ensure that businesses in these cities can benefit from the efficiency, reliability and adaptability of Transit.
