VinFast Partners with RoadGrid to Expand EV Service Network in India
VinFast Auto India has signed a strategic partnership with RoadGrid to establish 120 extended service workshops and charging infrastructure ahead of its vehicle launch in the country.
VinFast Auto India, the Indian subsidiary of Vietnamese electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast, announced a strategic service partnership with RoadGrid on July 8, 2025. The collaboration aims to establish extended service workshops and charging infrastructure across India before the company's first vehicle delivery in the market.
The partnership forms part of VinFast's preparation for its upcoming product launch in India. Through the agreement, VinFast aims to establish 120 extended service workshops by partnering with service providers including RoadGrid to strengthen its aftersales operations nationwide.
RoadGrid operates as an EV charging and aftersales solutions provider in India, with operations spanning multiple cities. The company develops charging infrastructure alongside integrated service solutions for electric vehicle owners and fleet operators. RoadGrid currently operates a network of more than 200 dealers across the country.
The collaboration between VinFast and RoadGrid will focus on providing real-time charging access, diagnostics-driven service offerings, and digital integration to support the EV ecosystem. The partnership addresses VinFast's strategy to ensure nationwide accessibility and convenience for customers as it enters the Indian market.
Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of VinFast Asia, stated the company's vision for India centers on building an EV ecosystem based on quality, accessibility, and long-term customer support. Deepesh Shrinath, CEO of RoadGrid, described VinFast's entry into the Indian EV market as a turning point for the industry.
VinFast operates as a subsidiary of Vingroup JSC, one of Vietnam's largest conglomerates, and trades on NASDAQ under the ticker VFS. The company manufactures electric SUVs, e-scooters, and e-buses, with current expansion efforts focused on North America, Europe, and Asia.
The partnership represents VinFast's commitment to establishing comprehensive service infrastructure before launching vehicles in India's growing electric vehicle market.
