Tata Motors' CV domestic wholesales slide by 16 % YoY to 25,864 units in August 2024

Passenger carriers recorded 3,410 unit sales in August 2024 as against 2986 units in August 2023, which is a gain of 14%.

Tata Motors' CV domestic wholesales slide by 16 % YoY to 25,864 units in August 2024

Tata Motors' domestic commercial vehicle wholesale slid by 16 % to 25,864  units during August  2024, as compared to a similar period last year when it registered 30,748 units. 

As per the data released by the company, HCV registered a 21% decline, with 7116 units sold during August  2024 as against 9,000 units sold during the month of August   2023. Intermediate, light, and medium commercial vehicle (ILMCV) trucks, on the other hand, reported 4965 unit sales in August 2024—a drop of 5% as against 5207 units in August 2023.

Passenger carriers recorded 3,410 unit sales in August 2024 as against 2986 units in August 2023, which is a gain of 14%. 

The small commercial vehicle (SCV) cargo and pickup segment registered a steep drop  of 23 % to 10,373 units in August  2024  when compared with 13,555 units in August 2023.
