Royal Enfield registers 36.2 percent YoY volume growth in Jan 2023

The company exported 7,044 motorcycles in January this year, representing a 22.7 percent increase over the same period last year.

Royal Enfield registers 36.2 percent YoY volume growth in Jan 2023

Royal Enfield reported a domestic wholesale of 67,702 motorcycles in January 2023, representing a 36.2 percent increase over the 49,726 motorcycles sold in the same month the previous year. Similarly, the company exported 7,044 motorcycles in January this year, representing a 22.7 percent increase over the same period last year.

B Govindarajan, CEO, Royal Enfield said, “We have begun the new year with an encouraging performance in the domestic market. Super Meteor 650, our most awaited cruiser, which was launched last month across India and Europe has received exceptional response and initial bookings have been promising.”

Royal Enfield, a part of Eicher Motors, has about 2,100 stores in India's major cities and towns, as well as roughly 850 stores in more than 60 countries worldwide.
