MG Delivers 150 Windsor PRO Electric Vehicles to Bengaluru Customers

New electric vehicle model offers 449 km range and advanced driver assistance systems, marking expansion in India's growing EV market with competitive pricing options

MG Delivers 150 Windsor PRO Electric Vehicles to Bengaluru Customers

Jubilant Motorworks delivered 150 units of the MG Windsor PRO to customers in Bengaluru on May 17, 2025. The delivery event follows the vehicle's India debut on May 6, which generated 8,000 bookings within 24 hours of launch.

The MG Windsor PRO features a 52.9 kWh battery pack with a certified range of 449 km. The vehicle produces 136 PS of power and 200 Nm of torque. It is available in the "Essence PRO" variant at a Battery as a Service (BaaS) price of INR 13.09 lakh plus INR 4.5 per kilometer, or an ex-showroom price of INR 18,09,800.

Amit Jain, CEO of Jubilant Motorworks, stated that the MG Windsor has disrupted the Bengaluru electric vehicle market. He noted that customers appreciate the balance of features and sustainable driving experience offered by the vehicle.

The Windsor PRO includes Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems with 12 features and three warning levels. Additional technology includes Vehicle-to-Load and Vehicle-to-Vehicle capabilities, along with a powered tailgate. The model comes in three new colors: Celadon Blue, Aurora Silver, and Glaze Red.

JSW MG Motor India is a joint venture formed in 2023 between SAIC Motor, a Fortune 500 company with presence in over 100 countries, and JSW Group, an Indian conglomerate. The company operates a manufacturing facility in Halol, Gujarat, with an annual production capacity exceeding 100,000 vehicles and employing 6,000 people directly and indirectly.

Morris Garages was founded in the UK in 1924 and developed a reputation for sports cars and roadsters popular with celebrities and British royalty. The brand has evolved to focus on connected, autonomous, shared, and electric mobility. MG has introduced several firsts in India, including the country's first internet SUV (MG Hector), first pure electric internet SUV (MG ZS EV), and first autonomous premium SUV (MG Gloster).
