Lexus India reports 17% Year-to-Date sales growth
Lexus India achieves a 17% year-to-date growth in 2024, with a 56% increase in November sales.
Lexus India has announced a 17% year-to-date sales growth for the calendar year 2024, compared to the same period in 2023. The company also recorded a 56% increase in sales for November 2024, compared to November 2023. The growth has been driven by strong demand across Lexus’ luxury lineup, with a notable 25% increase in sales for the SUV category, particularly for models like the Lexus NX and RX.
The Lexus RX has performed particularly well, registering a 50% growth in sales year-to-date through November 2024. This highlights the model’s continued appeal in the Indian market. Meanwhile, the Lexus ES has remained a key contributor to the brand’s overall sales, accounting for 41% of total sales in November 2024. The continued success of the ES reflects its popularity among Indian consumers due to its design and features.
Tanmay Bhattacharya, Executive Vice President of Lexus India, attributed the brand’s growth to the trust and loyalty of its customers, saying, “The growth in sales this year reflects the confidence our customers have in Lexus, as well as our ongoing efforts to provide high-quality products and experiences. We remain committed to engaging with our guests through special offers and initiatives, including the Lexus December to Remember campaign.”
Since its entry into India in 2017, Lexus has focused on delivering a personalised luxury experience, guided by the Japanese philosophy of Omotenashi. In line with this commitment, Lexus India introduced an 8-year/160,000 km vehicle warranty for all new models sold from June 1, 2024. Additionally, the company launched a 5-year Roadside Assistance program on February 1, 2024, to further enhance customer convenience.
Lexus also introduced high-quality factory body coatings in August 2024, aiming to provide a durable and luxurious finish to its vehicles. To strengthen its customer engagement efforts, Lexus has been hosting exclusive golf events and clinics across cities like Bangalore, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, and Mumbai, offering guests the opportunity to learn more about the finer details of golf.
