Fieldmarshal Launches ARAI-Certified TREM V Single-Cylinder Diesel Engines
Fieldmarshal introduces ARAI-Certified 15 HP and 18 HP engines with indigenous EGR technology.
Fieldmarshal P.M. Diesels has launched India’s first ARAI-certified TREM V-compliant single-cylinder diesel engines in 15 HP and 18 HP ratings. Developed for compact tractors and agricultural machinery, the new engine platform integrates an indigenously developed exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) system to meet current emissions standards.
The company has filed multiple national patent applications covering its TREM V engine technology. The powertrain platform is designed for agricultural applications, featuring compact packaging, enhanced cooling systems, and low-maintenance construction.
The engine launch aligns with Fieldmarshal’s plans to expand its presence in India’s specialized below-20 HP tractor market through its Shridev tractor brand. Fieldmarshal currently offers 12 HP, 15 HP, and 18 HP Shridev models, and says that it is aiming to capture a 10 to 15 percent share of the below-20 HP segment over the next three years.
Rishi Patel, Director at Fieldmarshal, said, "The launch of our ARAI TREM V-compliant 15 HP and 18 HP single-cylinder engines, together with our multiple national patent filings around the technology, demonstrates the growing capabilities of indigenous Indian engineering."
