Eicher Opens Dedicated Small Truck Dealership in Faridabad
VE Commercial Vehicles has launched an exclusive Eicher Pro X outlet on NH-19, targeting the city's growing demand for last-mile logistics solutions.
VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (VECV) inaugurated a new dealership for its Eicher Pro X small truck range in Faridabad on March 24, 2026. The facility, operated by Shree Motors Private Limited, is located at Mathura Road, Sector-15A, and is part of a network of outlets dedicated exclusively to the Pro X product line. The opening marks VECV's latest effort to deepen its retail presence in North India's industrial belt.
The 12,000 sq. ft. outlet functions as a 3S facility — integrating sales, servicing, and spare parts under one roof. It includes a customer lounge, service infrastructure, and interactive digital displays that allow buyers to configure vehicles by cargo body type, load deck option, fuel type, and colour. The customisation zone is designed to give fleet operators and individual buyers a degree of flexibility that has traditionally been absent from commercial vehicle retail in India.
Ramesh Rajagopalan, Executive Vice President for Customer Service, Retail Excellence and Network Development at VECV, said the location was selected for its proximity to the region's commercial activity. "Faridabad holds strategic importance as a prominent industrial and logistics hub in North India, supporting diverse sectors such as e-commerce, parcel and courier services, FMCG distribution, and industrial goods movement," he said. He added that the dealership would strengthen VECV's ability to serve businesses dependent on efficient last-mile transportation across Faridabad and surrounding markets.
The dealership's position on NH-19, along the Delhi–Mathura–Agra corridor, is intended to offer straightforward access for fleet operators across the region. Its proximity to key industrial and commercial clusters — including DLF Industrial Area, Karkhana Bagh Industrial Area, Sector 24–25 industrial zones, NIT Sabzi Mandi, and Anaj Mandi — places it within reach of businesses that form the core customer base for small commercial vehicles.
On the service side, the facility is equipped with trained technicians and support tools aimed at reducing vehicle downtime. VECV has positioned quick turnaround on servicing as a selling point for fleet owners, for whom operational uptime directly affects revenue. The 3S model, where customers can address sales inquiries, servicing needs, and spare parts procurement at a single location, is intended to reduce the friction typically associated with vehicle ownership in the commercial segment.
The Eicher Pro X range is marketed as fully connected, with onboard telematics included as a standard feature across the lineup. The dealership is part of what VECV describes as a "born-digital" retail network — one that uses digital tools throughout the ownership journey, from initial vehicle configuration at the showroom to ongoing fleet management support. This approach reflects a broader shift in commercial vehicle retailing in India, where manufacturers are increasingly investing in technology-led customer engagement to differentiate their offerings.
The small truck segment in India has seen sustained demand in recent years, driven largely by the growth of e-commerce, organised logistics, and last-mile delivery networks. Manufacturers including VECV, Tata Motors, and Mahindra have been expanding their dealer footprints in tier-2 cities and industrial corridors to capture this demand.
VECV is a joint venture between the Volvo Group and Eicher Motors Limited, established in August 2008. The company manufactures and distributes Eicher-branded trucks and buses, Volvo Buses, and Volvo Trucks in India, and also operates an engine manufacturing and export division that supplies the Volvo Group globally. It positions itself as a key player in the modernisation of commercial transportation across India and other developing markets.
