ASK Automotive ventures into high pressure die casted two-wheeler alloy wheels

ASK Automotive Limited, a prominent manufacturer of brake shoes and advanced braking systems for two-wheelers in India, has announced its foray into a new segment - High Pressure Die Casted Two-Wheeler (2W) Alloy Wheels. In a strategic move, the company has partnered with LIOHO Machine Works Limited, Taiwan, for technical expertise in developing this new product line.

The partnership with LIOHO Machine Works Limited spans over seven years and aims to leverage their technical assistance to design, develop, and manufacture high-quality Alloy Wheels for two-wheelers. The venture targets to commence production in Q4 FY25, with a focus on delivering superior safety and performance standards aligned with global benchmarks.

Kuldip Singh Rathee, Chairman and Managing Director of ASK Automotive Limited, expressed confidence in the venture, citing the company's extensive experience in the Indian automotive industry. He highlighted the increasing significance of alloy wheels across all segments of two-wheelers and emphasized ASK Automotive's commitment to setting new benchmarks in this segment.

The announcement comes after ASK Automotive's financial results, with significant growth in consolidated total income in Q3 FY24 and positive year-on-year growth in both income and PAT. The company's track record in supplying critical safety systems and precision solutions underscores its readiness to venture into the alloy wheel segment.
