2026 Toyota Glanza Facelift Launched, Priced from Rs 6.99 Lakh

Toyota has launched the 2026 Glanza facelift in India, with prices starting at Rs 6.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Alongside styling revisions, it replaces the outgoing model’s four-cylinder petrol engine with a new 1.2 litre three-cylinder unit and introduces a five-speed AMT option for CNG variants. The updated hatchback is available in five trims: E, S, G, V and V (O).

The revision follows the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, the Glanza's badge-engineered sibling, which received a facelift the previous month. The Baleno also brought in the 3-cylinder Z12E engine, along with an updated Level-2 ADAS suite.

Toyota has announced prices for the petrol-manual versions of all five trims, while prices for the remaining powertrain and transmission combinations are yet to be revealed.

Key Highlights

  • New engine: 1.2-litre three-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol/CNG unit.
  • Additional features: Ventilated front seats, wireless phone charger, TPMS and Level 2 ADAS.

Although output is 7hp and 1Nm lower than that of the outgoing four-cylinder engine, claimed fuel efficiency has improved.

2026 Toyota Glanza Facelift: Exterior Design

The Glanza gets a revised front fascia featuring a larger grille with satin-finished trim on either side. The LED fog lamps have been redesigned, while the headlights remain unchanged. The Toyota logo has been repositioned to the plastic trim beneath the bonnet, and a shark-fin antenna is now offered.

Two new exterior colours, Digital Teal Green and Bluish Black, join the palette.

The side profile remains largely unchanged, retaining the 16-inch alloy wheels, chrome door handles and chrome window-line trim. At the rear, the wraparound LED tail-lamps, roof-mounted spoiler, rear wiper and washer continue unchanged.

2026 Toyota Glanza Facelift: Interior and Features

The dashboard layout remains unchanged, but Toyota has introduced new leatherette seat upholstery and additional equipment. The updated hatchback gains ventilated front seats, a wireless phone charger with a cooling vent underneath, a Clarion sound system with four speakers and two tweeters, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and a Level 2 ADAS suite.

Existing equipment includes a 9-inch infotainment touchscreen, a monochrome head-up display, analogue instrument dials with a colour multi-information display and automatic climate control with rear AC vents.

Safety equipment carried over includes six standard airbags, a 360-degree camera, hill-hold control and ISOFIX child-seat anchors.
