Faurecia's futuristic cockpit wins Renault innovation award

The award recognises Faurecia’s Cockpit of the Future vision and contribution to the Renault’s scale 1 demonstrator for an urban, autonomous (level 4) and electrified vehicle.

The award recognises Faurecia’s Cockpit of the Future vision and contribution to the Renault’s scale 1 demonstrator representing its 2025 vision for an urban, autonomous (level 4) and electrified vehicle.

David Degrange, vice-president of the Cockpit of the Future division at Faurecia, said: “We are very much honored to receive this award from Renault which recognises the excellent collaboration between us in a short time frame to deliver an innovative concept for future vehicle interiors. We have created  with Renault a real Lab of advanced and functional innovations that enhanced the user experience for future autonomous, connected and electric vehicles.“

The Groupe Renault also awarded Faurecia and its interiors activity in the 'Excellence Manufacturing' category for its plant based at Pitesti in Romania. This facility, at the forefront of the Group’s Industry 4.0 initiative, manufactures instrument panels, door panels, acoustic and soft trims for Dacia.
