EV sales at 842,000 units in H1 2024 grow 16% but June numbers lowest in 12 months

While EV sales at halfway stage in CY2024 are 55% of CY2023’s record 1.53 million units, compared to the blistering 49% growth seen last year, demand has fallen for three straight months in the wake of the reduced subsidy with June hitting a 12-month low of 108,742 units.
