Electric 2W sales cross 700,000 in first seven months of 2025, TVS tops in last four

After three straight months of high double-digit growth, retail sales of electric two-wheelers at 102,924 units were down 4% YoY in July 2025, likely due to slower factory output and deliveries from the leading OEMs as a result of the ongoing shortage of rare earth magnets. While TVS Motor maintains its leadership for the fourth month in a row, demand slowed down for both the i-Qube maker and Bajaj Auto, fell sharply for Ola but rose strongly for Ather Energy and Hero MotoCorp.
