Wardwizard dispatches customised electric Three-Wheeler to the Philippines as part of $1.29 Billion EV partnership

Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Limited (WIML), an Indian electric vehicle manufacturer under the 'Joy e-bike' and 'Joy e-rik' brands, has dispatched a customised electric three-wheeler, the e-Trike (Driver + 10), to the Philippines. This vehicle is part of a USD 1.29 billion order from Beulah International Development Corporation, aimed at enhancing public transportation in the Philippines.

The e-Trike is undergoing testing as part of Wardwizard's commitment to the Philippine Government's Public Utility Vehicle Modernisation Program (PUVMP), which focuses on replacing outdated vehicles with electric alternatives.

In addition to the e-Trike, Wardwizard plans to send other electric vehicles from its lineup to the Philippines in February 2025 for further testing to assess their suitability for the local market. This move supports the ongoing partnership between Wardwizard and Beulah International, which aims to advance electric mobility in the Philippines.

Wardwizard Innovations & Mobility Limited (WIML), an Indian electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer, has positioned itself as a key player in the growing EV sector under the brands 'Joy e-bike' and 'Joy e-rik.' The company is focused on providing sustainable and innovative mobility solutions through a range of electric two-wheelers, three-wheelers, and four-wheelers. With India’s increasing emphasis on reducing carbon emissions and adopting cleaner transportation options, Wardwizard has been actively working to cater to the demand for electric vehicles, aligning with the country’s vision of a cleaner, greener future.

In a market that is rapidly expanding, Wardwizard faces both opportunities and challenges. The Indian EV market is still in a nascent stage, with infrastructure gaps, high upfront costs, and limited consumer awareness being some of the major hurdles. However, the company is addressing these issues by introducing affordable and practical electric mobility solutions aimed at diverse consumer segments, from personal commuters to businesses.

Wardwizard’s approach to sustaining itself in the competitive Indian market involves multiple strategies. The company has focused on research and development to improve the performance, battery efficiency, and affordability of its products. This includes enhancing the range and charging capabilities of its EVs, which are critical factors influencing consumer decisions. Additionally, Wardwizard has strengthened its sales and service network across key regions, making its products more accessible to potential buyers.

Another key element of Wardwizard’s strategy is its focus on partnerships and collaborations. For instance, the company has partnered with Beulah International Development Corporation for a large-scale EV deployment in the Philippines, contributing to its global expansion efforts. By diversifying its markets, Wardwizard is aiming to reduce its dependence on the domestic market while positioning itself as a global player in the EV sector.
