Suzuki Motorcycle India sales up 22% YoY in December
The automaker dispatched a total of 96,804 two-wheelers during the month, compared with 79,483 units sold in December 2023.
Suzuki Motorcycle India recorded 22% on-year growth in its December wholesales with a robust uptick in both domestic and export demand.
The Indian two-wheeler unit of Japanese automaker Suzuki Motor Corp dispatched a total of 96,804 motorcycles and scooters during the month, compared with 79,483 units sold in December 2023.
Domestic sales in December rose 14% on year to 78,834 units, while exports jumped 72% to 17,970 units. In India, Suzuki Motorcycle manufactures 125 cc scooters and premium motorcycles, those with 150cc and above engines.
“We have been experiencing consistent year-on-year growth every month and December has been no exception. This reflects the growing preference for our products amongst two-wheeler users and a recognition for the quality of sales and after Sales experience that our dealerships have been able to provide our customers,” said Devashish Handa, executive vice president of sales, marketing and after sales at Suzuki Motorcycle India.
In November, Suzuki Motorcycle sold a total of 94,370 units, marking an 8% year-on-year growth.
