Elektrobit Launches EB civion Suite at CES 2026
Automotive software specialist introduces comprehensive cockpit development platform combining cloud-native tools, hardware-agnostic software assets, and build-to-print controller designs to streamline software-defined vehicle production timelines and enhance supply chain management.
Elektrobit has introduced EB civion, a new software suite aimed at accelerating digital cockpit development for software-defined vehicles, at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
The EB civion suite comprises three main components designed to address different aspects of automotive cockpit development. EB civion Creator provides a cloud-native virtual environment for human-machine interface and application development in simulated settings. EB civion Core offers bundled, hardware-agnostic software optimized for cockpit domain controllers. EB civion Cockpit delivers domain controller solutions that combine build-to-print designs with system software tailored for specific system-on-chips.
According to the company, the platform enables automotive manufacturers and suppliers to reduce time-to-market through cloud-native prototyping cycles and modular software architecture. The solutions are designed to lower total cost of ownership by supporting hardware-agnostic development and testing processes.
Elektrobit has collaborated with technology providers including AMD, AWS, Google, Infineon, and Qualcomm Technologies to develop the platform. These partnerships integrate cloud services, hardware components, and scalable architectures into the EB civion ecosystem.
Maria Anhalt, CEO of Elektrobit, emphasized the role of digital cockpits in vehicle user experience. The company positions EB civion as a solution that provides automotive manufacturers with greater supply chain control while offering ready-to-integrate software components.
At CES 2026, Elektrobit is displaying additional technologies beyond EB civion, including high-performance Linux systems for safety-critical applications and scalable electronic control unit development approaches. The company's demonstrations are located at booth 3719 in the Las Vegas Convention Center's West Hall.
Anhalt is participating in industry panel discussions during the conference, including a Tuesday session on software-defined vehicle implementation at the Connect2Car conference and a Thursday panel on vehicle safety and personalization as part of the official CES program.
Elektrobit, which has over 35 years of experience in automotive software, is a subsidiary of AUMOVIO. The company reports that its software is currently deployed in more than 630 million vehicles globally.
