ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems India Appoints Paramjit Singh Chadha as Managing Director

ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems India Limited announced Monday that Paramjit Singh Chadha has joined the company as Managing Director. The appointment takes effect immediately at the Chennai-based subsidiary of German automotive technology group ZF.

Chadha brings 40 years of experience in the automotive sector to his new role. He began his career at Maruti Suzuki before holding positions at several component manufacturers including Kalyani Brakes, Bosch Chassis Systems, Continental Brakes, and Knorr-Bremse. His background includes work on brake systems and other safety components for various vehicle categories.

During his career, Chadha has served in multiple leadership capacities including Regional Head, SBU Head, Plant Head, and Managing Director roles. He has overseen three greenfield manufacturing projects and led initiatives in environmental and social governance, manufacturing processes, and digital transformation within the ADM Group.

ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems India is listed on both the National Stock Exchange and Bombay Stock Exchange under the symbols ZFCVINDIA and 533023 respectively. The company manufactures components for commercial vehicles as part of ZF Group's global operations.

Prof. Dr. Peter Laier, a member of ZF Group's Board of Management, acknowledged the contributions of outgoing leadership while expressing confidence in the new appointment. Laier stated that Chadha's experience and knowledge would benefit the company's operations.

Akash Passey, President of ZF Group India, noted that Chadha's familiarity with the regional automotive market would support the commercial vehicle business expansion. Passey also recognized the work of predecessor P Kaniappan in establishing the company's presence in India.

Chadha has participated in industry organizations including the ACMA Centre for Excellence and the Indian Value Engineering Society. The appointment represents a leadership transition as ZF continues its commercial vehicle operations in the Indian market.
