ZELIO E Mobility Plans Two New High-Speed Electric Scooter Launches by Mid-2026

ZELIO E Mobility announced plans on Tuesday to launch two new high-speed electric scooters by the second quarter of 2026, expanding its portfolio in India's growing electric two-wheeler market.

The New Delhi-based company said the upcoming models will target urban commuters, students, working professionals, and environmentally conscious riders. The scooters will feature smart connectivity options, improved range efficiency, and reinforced chassis design for Indian road conditions.

The launch builds on the performance of ZELIO's Mystery scooter, which has sold more than 2,000 units since its recent debut. The Mystery operates on a 72V/29AH lithium-ion battery with a 72V motor, delivering a 100-kilometer range on a single charge and reaching speeds up to 70 kilometers per hour. The model charges in four to five hours and has a gross weight of 120 kilograms with a loading capacity of 180 kilograms.

"Our vision has always been to make electric mobility more accessible, reliable, and exciting for Indian riders," said Kunal Arya, Co-Founder and Managing Director of ZELIO E Mobility. "The success of Mystery reaffirmed our belief in offering feature-rich, performance-oriented scooters that fit seamlessly into everyday life."

ZELIO E Mobility was founded in 2021 and currently serves more than 200,000 riders through a network of over 400 dealerships across India. The company plans to expand to 1,000 dealerships by the end of 2025.

The electric two-wheeler market in India has experienced significant growth as consumers seek alternatives to fuel-powered vehicles amid rising fuel costs and environmental concerns. ZELIO competes with other domestic and international manufacturers in the sector.

The company will release specifications, pricing, and availability details for the two new models closer to their launch date. ZELIO offers comprehensive warranty coverage on its vehicles and battery variants as part of its after-sales service.
