Yulu launches Wynn e-2Wheeler at Rs 55,555
The Wynn is an innovative electric two-wheeler designed to provide convenient mobility for urban families.
Bajaj Auto-backed shared electric mobility company, Yulu, has launched its first personal electric two-wheeler, the Yulu Wynn, at a limited-period introductory price of Rs 55,555. Online bookings are open for the Wynn at Rs 999 (fully refundable) while deliveries to begin from mid-May. After the introductory period, the Wynn will be available at a price of Rs 59,999.
The Wynn is an innovative electric two-wheeler designed to provide convenient mobility for urban families, incorporating a range of features such as truly-keyless access and instant family-sharing. What sets Wynn apart is its affordable ownership experience, made possible through Yulu's mobility subscription packs, which reduce upfront costs by 40%.
The vehicle is equipped with a swappable battery that can be replaced in less than a minute at any battery swapping station on the Yuma Energy network, a joint venture between Yulu and Magna. Customers can also purchase a portable charger accessory for at-home charging.
Amit Gupta, Co-founder and CEO, Yulu, commenting on the launch, said, “Ever since we started out, we have been flooded with requests from our shared mobility users to buy our smart-sized EVs for personal ownership. Listening to our customers, we have introduced the Wynn - our first vehicle for full ownership. It's India’s 1st Electric 2-wheeler for Easy-Mobility that offers not just an intelligent commute option but also disrupts the whole ownership experience that is built on the deep customer understanding and mobility tech Yulu has built by running India’s largest shared last-mile mobility services for millions of kms.”
“Mobility is still quite underserved in our country and there is a huge scope for new mobility categories built around continuously changing user needs. We are delighted to see Yulu enter the personal mobility space with the Wynn to offer easy mobility to a wide base of users. Wynn will be built at our CTL plant and will have the same world-class quality that Bajaj vehicles are known for”, Rakesh Sharma, Executive Director, Bajaj Auto, further added.
