Yamaha Hosts National 3S Grand Prix 2024–25 with India Final in Greater Noida

India Yamaha Motor Pvt. Ltd. (IYM) concluded the Yamaha National 3S Grand Prix 2024–25 with a national-level competition held at its Surajpur facility in Greater Noida. The event, which recognises the contributions of dealership staff in Sales, Service, and Spares operations, included over 7,500 participants from across the country.

Now in its latest edition, the 3S Grand Prix featured five categories: Technician, Service Advisor, Tele-Caller (introduced this year), Parts Manager, and Sales Consultant. The contest began with regional rounds from August to September 2024, followed by zonal rounds in February and March 2025. The final round took place on June 24 and 25, bringing together 40 finalists.

Top performers in each category were awarded, with the leading technician selected to represent India at the World Technician Grand Prix 2025 to be held in Japan this November. Evaluation criteria varied by role, with technicians assessed on diagnostics and maintenance, service advisors on customer handling and delivery timelines, and sales and tele-calling staff on communication and engagement. Parts managers were graded on inventory and customer service efficiency.

Speaking on the occasion, Ravinder Singh, Senior Vice President at Yamaha Motor India Sales Pvt. Ltd., said the initiative supports staff development and contributes to improving customer interactions across the dealership network.

The contest is supported by the Yamaha Motor Academy (YMA), which provides structured training to dealership personnel. The 3S Grand Prix has seen consistent growth in participation since its inception in 2010, with this year marking the highest number of entries to date.
