VVDN Technologies Partners with QNX to Develop Safety-Critical Automotive and Embedded Solutions

VVDN Technologies announced today an engagement with QNX, a division of BlackBerry Limited, to deliver safety-critical solutions across automotive and embedded technology sectors. The partnership brings together QNX's real-time operating systems and safety-certified software with VVDN's capabilities in electronics manufacturing and product engineering.

The collaboration targets several key areas including software-defined vehicles, advanced driver assistance systems, autonomous driving technology, digital cockpit development, and eMobility solutions.

The companies plan to integrate QNX's Neutrino RTOS and Hypervisor for Safety with VVDN's expertise in centralized ECU development, sensor fusion, and battery management systems. The partnership also extends to embedded applications in medical technology, industrial controls, robotics, and aerospace sectors.

"This engagement with QNX reinforces our commitment to delivering safety-critical and real-time solutions across sectors," said Vivek Bansal, President and Co-Founder of VVDN Technologies. Dhiraj Handa, Senior Vice President and General Manager for Asia-Pacific at QNX, noted that VVDN's expertise in hardware and system design complements QNX's software offerings to help customers bring mission-critical products to market.

VVDN Technologies, founded in 2007, operates from headquarters in India and California, with offices across North America, Europe, and Asia. The company maintains 11 research and development centers and seven manufacturing facilities in India, offering services from hardware design to mass manufacturing. VVDN serves global customers across various technology sectors.

QNX, established in 1980 and headquartered in Ottawa, provides operating systems, hypervisors, and development tools for embedded systems. The company's technology operates in more than 255 million vehicles globally and serves industries including automotive, medical devices, industrial controls, and aerospace. QNX is a division of BlackBerry Limited, which trades on the New York Stock Exchange and Toronto Stock Exchange.
