Ultraviolette Launches Riding Academy for Electric and ICE Motorcycle Riders

Ultraviolette has launched a structured riding academy in India, bringing its existing Track Attack and Into the Wild programmes under a single platform. The academy will offer dedicated track and off-road training, with riders able to participate on both electric and internal-combustion-engine (ICE) motorcycles.

The programmes are open to all motorcycle riders and are not restricted to Ultraviolette owners. The company will provide the training and certification, but will not supply ICE motorcycles for participants.

Both Track Attack and Into the Wild follow a three-level certification structure. Riders must complete an assessment before progressing to the next level, with the curriculum combining classroom sessions and practical training at controlled racetracks or off-road locations.

Level 1 focuses on fundamental riding techniques, motorcycle control and safety, while Level 2 introduces more advanced technical skills, and Level 3 focuses on higher-intensity riding and advanced techniques specific to track or off-road environments.

Track Attack Focuses on Circuit Riding

Ultraviolette’s Track Attack programme is aimed at riders looking to improve their performance riding skills on a racetrack. The curriculum covers racing lines, braking points, corner entry and exit, throttle control and body positioning.

Participants will also learn about track positioning, overtaking awareness, circuit awareness and acceleration techniques. Safety-related elements include track etiquette, flag protocols, protective equipment and pre-ride motorcycle checks.

Into the Wild Offers Structured Off-Road Training

Into the Wild is designed around riding on loose and uneven terrain. The programme covers body positioning, balance, throttle and brake control, off-road cornering and terrain assessment.

The course also includes obstacle navigation, motorcycle recovery and responsible trail riding, with the focus on developing control and decision-making in off-road conditions.

While the two programmes have different riding environments and skill requirements, both follow the same Level 1-to-Level 3 certification framework.

First Sessions Scheduled in Bengaluru

Ultraviolette plans to conduct the academy programmes throughout the year across a growing network of racetracks and off-road locations in India.

The first Level 1 Into the Wild session is scheduled to take place in Bengaluru on August 23, 2026, followed by a Track Attack session on September 27.

The company says the academy is intended to progressively develop motorcycle control, technical ability, safety awareness and riding judgement rather than function as a one-off riding experience.

Ultraviolette claims the initiative makes it the first electric two-wheeler manufacturer globally to establish a structured riding academy offering both track and off-road training and certification.
