Toyota Kirloskar Motor Launches Service Campaign for Monsoon Season in South India

Toyota Kirloskar Motor announced the launch of its "Awesome Toyota Service Campaign" on July 3, targeting customers across South India as the monsoon season begins. The initiative will run through July 2025 at all authorized Toyota dealerships in the southern region.

The campaign offers a 20-point vehicle inspection at no cost, including tire and battery testing. Customers can receive up to 10 percent discount on labor charges and access to a monsoon care package that includes interior cleaning, windshield polishing, headlamp restoration, and odor removal services. The program also features discounted prices on tires and batteries.

Wiseline Sigamani, Vice President and Chief Representative for the South Region at Toyota Kirloskar Motor, stated that the campaign reflects the company's customer-focused approach. He emphasized the initiative's role in supporting vehicle maintenance and ensuring safe travel during the rainy season through preventive care and service offers.

The company has recommended several monsoon driving precautions, including maintaining proper tire pressure, checking wipers and headlights, avoiding flooded roads, and carrying emergency items such as flashlights, towels, and rain gear.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor operates two manufacturing plants in Bidadi with a combined production capacity of up to 342,000 units annually. The company, established as a joint venture between Toyota Motor Corporation of Japan (89 percent stake) and Kirloskar Systems Limited of India (11 percent stake), employs over 6,500 people and manufactures various models including the Innova HyCross, Fortuner, and Camry Hybrid for the Indian market.
