Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL) has inaugurated its first ‘Suzuki Lounge’ in Thane, Maharashtra, combining a two-wheeler service workshop with a customer lounge and vehicle display area.

The Suzuki Lounge is designed as an integrated service and customer experience facility, with the company aiming to make workshop visits more comfortable while providing customers greater visibility into the servicing process.

The Thane facility features a four-bay service workshop that is connected to the customer lounge through an open layout and glass partitions. This allows customers to observe workshop activities while their vehicles are being serviced by Suzuki technicians.

The customer area includes a café-style reception, seating and dedicated discussion spaces. The interiors use contemporary design elements, including wooden accents and soft lighting, as part of what the company describes as a hospitality-led approach to after-sales service.

The facility also includes a dedicated new vehicle display area, allowing customers visiting for servicing to view Suzuki’s motorcycles and scooters and access information about their features.

“Today’s customers expect more than just service. They seek transparency, comfort, and a premium experience. With Suzuki Lounge, we are creating an environment where customers can relax, stay connected, and confidently witness the care and expertise that goes into servicing their vehicles,” said Hari Krishna K., Executive Officer – Sales & After-Sales, Suzuki Motorcycle India.

The company said the initiative is part of its efforts to strengthen its after-sales network and customer touchpoints. The integration of service, customer facilities and product display is intended to provide a more comprehensive experience at a single dealership location.

The outlet, operated by Riddhi Auto Agencies LLP (Riddhi Suzuki), is located in Pimpalghar, Bhiwandi, Thane. It was inaugurated by Vivek Jain, Assistant Vice-President – After Sales, and Osamu Tani, Operation Manager – After Sales, Suzuki Motorcycle India, in the presence of company and dealership officials.

The Thane outlet marks the first Suzuki Lounge in India. SMIPL has not disclosed the number of such facilities it plans to establish across the country.

Suzuki Motorcycle India, a subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, Japan, began operations in India in February 2006. The company operates a manufacturing facility at Kherki Daula in Gurugram, Haryana, and produces scooters, premium motorcycles and Big-Bikes for the Indian market.
