STUDDS Accessories Launches Superman-Themed Helmet in India

STUDDS Accessories Ltd. announced the launch of its Studds Helios Superman Edition Helmet on Monday, expanding its superhero-themed product line in collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery Global Consumer Products India. The full-face helmet incorporates Superman Man of Steel graphics and meets both Indian BIS and US DOT safety standards.

The launch follows the company's Batman Edition helmet introduced in July as part of its partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery. STUDDS, which claims to be the world's largest two-wheeler helmet manufacturer by volume in 2024, has positioned the Superman edition as part of its flagship Helios model range.

The helmet features Anti-fog 100 lens technology, providing fog resistance for 100 seconds, and includes an aerodynamic design with integrated spoilers. The product comes in six color combinations with both matte and gloss finish options, targeting riders seeking branded safety gear.

Technical specifications include a thermoplastic polymer outer shell, regulated density EPS padding for impact absorption, and cataphote retro-reflective padding for low-light visibility. Additional features comprise a dual visor system with silicone coating, integrated speaker pockets for Bluetooth devices, and an eyeglass-compatible design.

The helmet is priced starting at INR 3,700 and available in medium, large, and extra-large sizes. Distribution channels include offline retail shops, STUDDS exclusive outlets, and the company's website, with marketplace availability planned.

STUDDS Accessories operates three manufacturing facilities with a combined annual capacity of 9.04 million units and sold approximately 7.10 million helmets in fiscal 2024. The company markets its Studds and SMK brands in more than 70 countries across Americas, Asia, Europe, and other regions.

Managing Director Sidhartha Bhushan Khurana stated the launch reflects the company's focus on combining safety standards with design elements that appeal to contemporary riders.
