Royal Enfield Reports 6% Year-on-Year Growth in April 2025
Export volumes rose by 55% year-on-year, while domestic sales remained relatively stable with a 1% increase.
Royal Enfield recorded total sales of 86,559 motorcycles in April 2025, reflecting a 6% increase compared to 82,043 units sold in April 2024. This includes domestic sales of 76,002 units and exports of 10,557 units.
Export volumes rose by 55% year-on-year, while domestic sales remained relatively stable with a 1% increase.
Commenting on the monthly performance, B. Govindarajan, Managing Director of Eicher Motors and CEO of Royal Enfield, noted that the company has started the financial year positively after crossing the one million unit milestone in the previous year. He also highlighted the recent product updates and international market expansion.
In April, Royal Enfield launched the 2025 version of the Hunter 350 at its new street culture festival, HunterHood, held in Mumbai and Delhi. The updated model comes in three new color options and includes feature enhancements such as better ground clearance, slip-assist clutch, LED headlamps, a tripper navigation pod, and Type-C USB charging.
The company also introduced the Classic 350 in Nepal, manufactured at its CKD (completely knocked down) facility. The motorcycle now features dual-channel ABS, LED lighting, USB charging, and gear position indicators across all variants. The Classic 350 is available in seven colorways across five trims and starts at NPR 5.55 lakhs.
