Royal Enfield Posts Strong Growth with 89,429 Units in May 2025
Royal Enfield records 89,429 sales in May 2025, up 3.3% from April. Monthly sales grow as company sustains domestic and export momentum.
Royal Enfield recorded total sales of 89,429 motorcycles in May 2025, reflecting a 3.3% increase from 86,559 units sold in April 2025. Domestic sales reached 75,820 units, slightly lower than April’s 76,002 units, while exports grew to 13,609 units from 10,557 units in the previous month, marking a 29% month-on-month increase.
The company's international sales showed notable growth, with exports rising by 3,052 units compared to April. Meanwhile, domestic dispatches remained largely stable.
B Govindarajan, Managing Director of Eicher Motors and CEO of Royal Enfield, said, "This month, we've continued to build on our momentum with steady growth in India and international markets. What's even more exciting is the way our community continues to expand, in spirit and in size. From iconic rides like the Himalayan Odyssey to partnerships with like-minded brands, we're committed to creating spaces where riders come together to explore, connect, and celebrate the journey."
For fiscal year 2025-26, Royal Enfield has recorded total sales of 175,988 units, reflecting a 15% increase compared to 152,880 units in the same period last year. Domestic sales reached 151,822 units with a 10% increase, while exports grew 69% to 24,166 units, underscoring the company’s international expansion strategy.
The company has opened registrations for the 21st edition of its Himalayan Odyssey, an 18-day expedition covering 2,600 kilometers through Ladakh, Spiti, Zanskar, and Umling La. The event will feature 70 riders from around the world and reinforces the brand’s focus on responsible travel and community engagement.
Royal Enfield also announced a partnership with The Great Frog for a limited edition collection featuring a custom Super Meteor 650 chopper, a sterling silver ring, and exclusive apparel. Additionally, the company launched its Urban Outerwear collection, designed for city riders.
These developments build upon initiatives introduced in April, including the launch of the updated Hunter 350 at the HunterHood festival and the introduction of the Classic 350 in Nepal through its CKD facility. The consistent product updates and market expansion efforts have contributed to sustained sales growth across both domestic and international markets.
Royal Enfield operates over 2,000 stores across India and nearly 850 outlets in more than 60 countries. The company maintains manufacturing facilities at Oragadam and Vallam Vadagal near Chennai, along with six CKD assembly plants in Bangladesh, Nepal, Brazil, Thailand, Argentina, and Colombia.
