Skoda Auto India Unveils Facelifted Slavia Alongside Octavia RS and Superb TDI
Updated midsize sedan introduces segment-first eight-speed automatic, rear seat massage function, and Google Cloud AI voice integration.
Skoda Auto India has unveiled the updated Slavia midsize sedan, alongside India showcase plans for the Octavia RS and the all-new Superb TDI.
The refreshed Slavia gains updated exterior styling with redesigned LED headlamps, taillamps with sequential rear indicators, a chrome grille accent, and new alloy wheel designs. Inside, the sedan introduces a segment-first rear-seat massage function, a 360-degree Area View camera system, front parking sensors, a 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit, and a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment unit integrated with Google Cloud's Automotive AI Agent. The sedan carries forward its 5-star Global NCAP rating with six airbags as standard across all trims.
A key mechanical highlight is the introduction of a segment-first eight-speed torque-converter automatic transmission paired with the 1.0 TSI engine, replacing the previous six-speed automatic unit. The 1.0 TSI also remains available with a six-speed manual gearbox, while the higher-spec 1.5 TSI powertrain continues with the seven-speed DSG automatic and now adds rear disc brakes.
The Slavia will be available in Classic, Classic+, Signature, Sportline, Prestige, and Monte Carlo trims, with pre-bookings open at Rs 15,000.
Alongside the Slavia, Skoda opened pre-bookings for a fresh batch of 50 units of the 265 PS Octavia RS at Rs 2,50,000, and invited expressions of interest for the Superb TDI luxury sedan ahead of its planned delivery rollout by the end of Q2 next year.
"The new Slavia, with the all-new Superb and the iconic Octavia RS, carries forward the brand's proud sedan legacy. The new Slavia builds on these foundations while introducing contemporary styling, advanced technology and enhanced comfort for today's customers," said Ashish Gupta, Brand Director at Skoda Auto India.
