Renault India Records Strong Onam Sales with 300+ Vehicle Deliveries

Renault India achieved significant sales momentum during Kerala's Onam festival, completing deliveries of more than 300 vehicles across the state. The French automotive manufacturer's performance was bolstered by strong demand for its recently launched All-New Triber model, which accounted for over 180 of the total deliveries.

The company reported receiving an overwhelming market response for the Triber in Kerala, with more than 100 units delivered within the first ten days of the festive period. Onam traditionally represents one of Kerala's peak automobile purchasing seasons, making the sales figures particularly significant for the brand's regional performance.

Renault India's 24-strong dealer network in Kerala facilitated the delivery process, ensuring vehicles reached customers on auspicious dates during the festival period. The coordinated effort across dealerships enabled the company to meet heightened festive demand effectively.

Launched in July 2025 at an ex-showroom price of INR 6,29,995, the All-New Triber represents Renault's first model under its 'renault. rethink.' brand transformation strategy in India. The vehicle features updated design elements and enhanced comfort features while maintaining the model's characteristic modular seating configuration.

The Triber offers flexible seating arrangements that can be configured as a 5, 6, or 7-seater vehicle, complemented by segment-leading boot space of up to 625 liters. The model includes 35 new features and incorporates a redesigned front fascia with LED projector headlamps, integrated LED daytime running lights, and updated grille design.

Safety features have been enhanced with 21 standard elements including six airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution with Brake Assist. The model also introduces Front Parking Sensor technology, described as a segment-first feature.

The vehicle is available across four variants - Authentic, Evolution, Techno, and Emotion - targeting different customer segments within the family car market. The delivery numbers during Onam indicate positive market reception for Renault's updated product strategy in the Kerala automotive market.
