Ola Electric today inaugurated its 500th service centre in Kochi, Kerala, as part of its rapid expansion efforts to widen its service network across the country. The newly inaugurated centre is the company’s largest service centre in the state of Kerala.

An Ola spokesperson said, “At Ola, enhancing customer satisfaction and ownership experience is our utmost priority. A key aspect to ensuring that is having a robust service network across India that allows us to cater to all service-related requests of our customers in the shortest time possible."

"Our 500th service centre in Kochi is a testament to our service promise to our customers, and we will continue to strengthen our after-sales & service network across India."

To celebrate the inauguration of the 500th service centre, the company also organised a ride for its member community in Kochi. Furthermore, the company will hold a nationwide free scooter health checkup across all major cities and towns in India on Sunday.

Ola Electric recently marked its foray into the mass-market segment and announced new prices for its S1 X portfolio. Available in three battery configurations (2 kWh, 3 kWh, and 4 kWh), the scooter is now priced at Rs 69,999 (introductory price), Rs 84,999, and Rs 99,999, respectively. The deliveries will start next week. The company also revised the prices of S1 Pro, S1 Air, and S1 X+ to Rs 1,29,999, Rs 1,04,999, and Rs 84,999, respectively.

Ola Electric also offers an 8-year/80,000 km extended battery warranty for the entire range of products at no extra cost, a move Ola Electric believes addresses one of the barriers to EV adoption by extending the lifespan of the vehicles. Customers can also opt for an add-on warranty and increase the upper limit of the kilometres travelled up to 1,00,000 km at Rs 4,999 and up to 1,25,000 km at Rs 12,999. Ola Electric has also introduced a portable fast charger accessory of 3KW which is available for purchase at Rs 29,999.
