Okaya EV starts selling Disruptor with first exclusive dealership in Delhi

Okaya EV has taken a step towards realizing its plans for the premium electric vehicle market with the launch of its first exclusive Ferrato dealership in Delhi's Adchini area. The inauguration marks the debut of Ferrato, Okaya's premium brand, and introduces the Disruptor - a high-performance electric sports motorcycle priced at Rs 1,59,999 (ex-showroom).

The Disruptor comes with impressive specifications and claims a range of 129 km on a single charge and an economical running cost of just 25 paise per kilometer. The motorcycle delivers a peak power of 6.37 kW through its PMSM center motor chain-driven system. With a top speed of 95 km/h and three driving modes - Eco, City, and Sports - the Disruptor aims to cater to various riding preferences.

Dr. Anshul Gupta, Managing Director of Okaya EV, highlighted the company's strategic move, stating, "We are introducing premium dealerships aimed at providing a distinctive automotive experience, supported by new innovative products under the banner of Ferrato." The company plans to expand rapidly, targeting 100 Ferrato centers within the next quarter.

Sanjay Khosla, owner of the newly launched Ferrato Zone Adchini, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership. "We look forward to serving our customers and contributing to the growth of electric mobility in the region," Khosla remarked.

Ferrato's ambitious plans include the introduction of three more electric motorcycles and an electric scooter within the year. The brand is now accepting bookings for the Disruptor across India, targeting enthusiasts eager for premium electric sports bikes.

This move by Okaya EV, a subsidiary of the Okaya Group, builds on the company's four-decade legacy in battery manufacturing. With a presence in 42 countries, Okaya aims to leverage its experience to lead in the growing electric mobility sector.

The launch of Ferrato and its flagship Disruptor motorcycle signifies a notable shift in India's electric vehicle landscape, potentially setting new standards for performance, design, and customer experience in the premium EV segment.
