MINI India Reports 70% Growth in H1 2026 Sales
MINI India delivered 504 vehicles in the first half of 2026, driven by the Countryman range, new product introductions and an expanding retail network.
MINI India reported a 70 per cent year-on-year increase in sales during the first half of 2026, delivering 504 vehicles between January and June. The automaker attributed the growth to its expanding product portfolio, retail network additions and customer demand for the Countryman range.
The MINI Countryman was the company's highest-selling model during the period, followed by the Convertible and Hatch. The recently launched locally produced MINI Countryman C, introduced in mid-June, has also begun generating customer interest, according to the company.
"MINI India has had a remarkable start to 2026, growing by 70% in the first half of the year. As we look ahead, the locally produced MINI Countryman C will play a defining role in the next phase of MINI's journey in India," said Hardeep Singh Brar, President and CEO, BMW Group India.
During the first six months of the year, MINI also introduced special editions including the Cooper S Victory Edition and the Convertible JCW Pack, both of which were sold out.
The company is also expanding its retail footprint as part of its Retail.NEXT strategy. MINI currently operates 18 sales touchpoints across 17 cities and plans to enter new markets including Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ranchi, Guwahati, Surat, Vijayawada and Lucknow, while strengthening its presence in Mumbai, Pune and Gurugram.
In addition to network expansion, MINI said it continued customer engagement initiatives through experiential events such as MINI Go-Kart Days during the first half of the year.
