MG Motor teams up with Gamer MortaL for its Upcoming Smart Comet EV

MG Motor India has partnered with gamer MortaL (Naman Mathur), for the auto maker’s forthcoming Smart EV Comet. MG Motor India aims to enhance its mobility experience with this auto-tech proposition, the press release stated.

The name ‘Comet’ draws inspiration from an iconic 1934 British aeroplane. The ‘Comet’ is here at a time when driving in congested urban cities is becoming a stressful chore that calls for an urgent need for agile and futuristic solutions amidst skyrocketing fuel costs, sparse parking spaces, and increasing pollution, said the carmaker.
Gaurav Gupta, Chief Commercial Officer, MG Motor India said, “As an auto tech brand, we have always introduced industry-leading technology across our product portfolio. Through this partnership with MortaL we are working on something truly incredible which is sure to bring alive the fun and tech proposition of our upcoming Smart EV Comet. FY2023’s 11,71,944 units are a robust 155 percent year-on-year increase on FY2022’s 458,746 units and point to the surge in consumer demand for EVs, in the face of stiff petrol and diesel prices as well as CNG.
