It regulates Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) policies, ensuring transparency and ease of investment for international businesses in various sectors.
Furthermore, DPIIT works on intellectual property rights (IPR) protection by implementing initiatives such as the National IPR Policy, which enhances patent filing processes and enforcement mechanisms. Through various programs and policy frameworks, DPIIT contributes to economic growth by fostering a business-friendly ecosystem and supporting industrial and entrepreneurial development in India.
