Indian electric vehicle startup Matter participates in Flipkart's Big Billion Days 2025, offering benefits up to Rs 50,000 on its flagship geared electric motorbike Aera, priced at Rs 1.55 lakhs during the festive season.
Electric vehicle manufacturer Matter has announced participation in Flipkart's Big Billion Days 2025 sale, introducing festive offers on its Aera electric motorbike. The Ahmedabad-based startup is providing benefits worth up to Rs 50,000 on its flagship product during the shopping festival.
The Aera motorbike is positioned as India's first geared electric motorbike, featuring a 4-speed HyperShift transmission system. The vehicle includes a liquid-cooled powertrain, 7-inch touchscreen dashboard, and offers a certified range of up to 172 kilometers on a single charge. The motorbike accelerates from 0-40 km/h in under 2.8 seconds and comes with a lifetime battery warranty.
During the festive sale period, Aera is available at Rs 1.55 lakhs, representing what the company describes as festival pricing for the electric vehicle. Matter Experience Hubs are providing test rides as part of the promotional campaign.
The company operates with over 600 employees and has filed more than 350 patents, with 75 granted across various technologies including powertrain, battery management, and manufacturing automation.
The festive offer campaign coincides with the Navratri festival period, targeting customers considering electric mobility options during the traditional shopping season. Matter's participation in the e-commerce platform's sale represents the company's strategy to reach consumers through digital retail channels.
The electric vehicle sector in India has seen increased activity during festive seasons, with manufacturers using promotional periods to attract customers to electric mobility solutions. Matter's offer positioning focuses on the combination of performance features and pricing during the limited-time sale period.
