Magenta Mobility Appoints Ankur Bhandari as Head of Finance

Magenta Mobility has appointed Ankur Bhandari as Head of Finance, bringing over 15 years of financial leadership experience to the electric mobility solutions provider. The appointment was announced today as the company prepares for its next phase of growth and innovation.

Bhandari joins Magenta Mobility from a career spanning the chemicals, retail, consumer goods, and logistics sectors. His expertise in financial planning, business partnering, and margin optimization will support the company's financial performance and long-term strategy.

The new Head of Finance will focus on building a finance function that enables cost leadership, scalability, and operational excellence. His previous roles include leadership positions at DP World Group, Mahindra Logistics, VRS Foods Ltd., BASF Chemicals, and Texmo Pipes and Products Ltd., where he drove transformation initiatives across finance, supply chain, and operations.

The appointment reinforces Magenta Mobility's commitment to building a leadership team to support its mission of decarbonizing logistics. The company operates a fleet of over 2,600 electric vehicles across 18+ cities, serving e-commerce, grocery, FMCG, and pharmaceutical sectors for mid and last-mile deliveries.

Magenta Mobility runs 100 charging depots, completes over 1.4 million monthly deliveries, and has driven 35.2 million clean kilometers while offsetting 1,030 tonnes of CO2. The company employs over 2,700 delivery executives and aims to expand to 10,000 electric cargo vehicles through its 'Ab Ki Baar Dus Hazaar' campaign.
