Kabira Mobility partners with Electric One, potentially impacting sales and service
This partnership aims to expand market reach, improve customer experience, and develop local EV ecosystems. The collaboration could influence sales channels and after-sales service for electric two-wheelers across India.
Kabira Mobility, an electric motorbike manufacturer and technology company in India, has announced a partnership with Electric One, a multi-brand electric vehicle platform. This collaboration aims to contribute to the development of India's E2W ecosystem by combining Kabira Mobility's products with Electric One's network and market experience.
The partnership seeks to develop the EV ecosystem by utilising Electric One's network and Kabira Mobility's electric vehicle technology and products. Kabira Mobility plans to expand its market reach by leveraging Electric One's pan-India dealer network, potentially making its products more widely available to consumers across the country.
Consumers may benefit from an integrated sales process and after-sales service, combining Kabira Mobility with Electric One's customer service approach. Additionally, both companies plan to work on developing ecosystem components at a local level, including charging infrastructure and after-sales service, tailored to the needs of Indian EV consumers.
Jaibir Siwach, CEO of Kabira Mobility, commented on the partnership: "This collaboration with Electric One could significantly impact the Indian EV market. By combining our technology with Electric One's market presence, we aim to contribute to building an EV ecosystem for India. We believe our shared goal of reducing carbon emissions in transportation could help increase EV adoption and potentially contribute to environmental sustainability."
Amit Das, Founder and CEO of Electric One, added: "This partnership with Kabira Mobility represents a step forward for both our companies and potentially for the Indian EV market. We have been looking for a partner offering solutions for the growing EV market in India, and Kabira Mobility aligns with our requirements. Their products and ecosystem approach are consistent with our vision. We aim to address challenges in the EV sector and offer solutions that could benefit our customers and potentially increase EV adoption across the country."
The partnership is scheduled to begin immediately, with Kabira Mobility's electric bikes and scooters expected to become available through Electric One's network in the coming weeks.
