Isuzu expands D-MAX range with new cab-chassis variant, priced at Rs 9,99,990

The Isuzu D-MAX 1.7 Single Cab Cab-Chassis Std variant is designed to meet the needs of customers in various businesses such as perishables, FMCG, food & catering, and last-mile delivery, the company claimed. 

This variant allows customers to construct load-bodies according to their specific requirements.The D-MAX Single Cab 1.7 Cab-Chassis Std variant is priced at ₹9,99,990/- ex-showroom. 

The D-MAX range is equipped with a 2.5 litre ISUZU 4JA1 Engine. The vehicles feature an aerodynamic exterior design and an interior layout similar to passenger vehicles. The seats are upholstered with fabric and have height-adjustable seat belts. A Multi-Information Display (MID) cluster with a Gear Shift Indicator (GSI) is included to assist drivers in selecting appropriate gears for various driving conditions.

The Isuzu D-MAX is built on an iGRIP chassis. The cab is constructed from high-tensile steel. The front suspension uses independent coil springs, while the rear suspension employs rigid leaf springs.

Safety features include front and rear crumple zones, a cross car front beam, door side intrusion protection, a collapsible steering column, and underbody steel protection for the drivetrain. The D-MAX range also includes a Brake Override System (BOS), which reduces engine power in situations where both the brake and accelerator pedals are pressed simultaneously.

Toru Kishimoto, Deputy Managing Director of Isuzu Motors India, stated, "The new D-MAX 1.7 Cab-Chassis Std variant expands our product range to meet different business needs. It offers customers flexibility in choosing their load-body configuration to suit their specific requirements."
