Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has announced that its myHyundai app now offers access to more than 30,000 EV charging points across the country, built through partnerships with several charge point operators (CPOs). The company describes it as one of the largest integrated charging networks available through a single platform in India.

The tie-up is aimed at giving electric vehicle owners charging access across long-distance routes, with the company noting that facilities are available within an average radius of 25 km nationally, including stretches on highways connecting Delhi-Gurgaon-Jaipur, Mumbai-Pune-Bengaluru, Mumbai-Ratnagiri-Goa, Chennai-Vellore-Bengaluru and Hyderabad-Kurnool-Bengaluru.

Alongside the CPO partnerships, HMIL is also growing its own proprietary charging infrastructure. The company currently runs 183 DC fast-charging stations across 105 cities and plans to more than triple this to 600 stations by 2030, spread across cities, highways and Hyundai dealerships. These stations currently support charging speeds ranging from 60 kW to 240 kW and are open to EV users regardless of brand.

According to the company, its owned charging network has served over 3 lakh EV users and delivered more than 50 lakh kWh of energy since January 2023, which it says has helped avoid approximately 3.5 million kg of CO₂ emissions through June 2026.

The myHyundai app also supports location discovery, navigation, advance booking and digital payments for charging services. HMIL said its own charging stations have been positioned near eateries and food outlets on highways and in cities to give EV owners a place to rest while their vehicles charge.

Looking ahead, HMIL said it plans to enter the mass-market EV segment with the launch of an SUV EV within the current financial year.
