Hyundai Motor India Hosts Global People Leadership Summit 2026
Over 150 HR leaders and industry representatives discussed AI, changing skill requirements, employee expectations and workplace stability at the Gurugram summit.
The Top Employers Institute and Hyundai Motor India hosted the Global People Leadership Summit 2026 at Hyundai Motor India’s Centre of Transformation headquarters in Gurugram on August 21. The summit was themed ‘The Stability Paradox: Leading People Through Constant Change’ and brought together more than 150 senior HR leaders, industry experts and certified Top Employers.
Discussions at the event covered changing skill requirements, employee expectations, artificial intelligence and workplace transformation. The summit also marked 30 years of Hyundai Motor India’s operations in the country.
The event opened with an address by YM Park, Function Head and VP – People Strategy, Hyundai Motor India. The agenda included sessions on workplace stability, skills, continuous learning and employee experience.
HR leaders discuss AI, skills and workplace stability
A keynote session titled ‘The Stability Paradox’ featured Ritesh Pratap Singh, CHRO, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, and Yeshwinder Patial, CHRO, JSW MG Motor India. The discussion examined the impact of artificial intelligence, changing skill requirements, geopolitical shifts and rising employee expectations on workplace stability.
A separate fireside conversation, ‘The Half-Life of Skills’, brought together HR leaders from Suntory Global, Boeing, Schneider Electric, Regal Rexnord and Empower India GCC. The session focused on continuous learning, workforce readiness and critical skills required for the future.

Summit examines employee experience and leadership development
The ‘Culture by Design’ session brought together people leaders from Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages, MakeMyTrip, Compass Group, PFI Innovation Centre, Deloitte, GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals and Infinite. The discussion focused on how organisations are designing employee experience.
Other sessions included discussions on the journey towards Top Employer Certification, an interactive peer-exchange focused on HR challenges, and a showcase of Hyundai Motor India’s NEXT Leadership Program.
The summit concluded with a session titled ‘One Workforce, Many Expectations’, which brought senior HR leaders from SAIL, Mankind Pharma and Jakson Group together with emerging HR leaders from Bain & Company and Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages.
