Hyundai Highlights Mobility Initiatives at 2025 FISITA World Mobility Conference
Hyundai participated as a Prime Partner, contributing to technical sessions, paper presentations, and exhibitions.
Hyundai Motor Group emphasized its role in the future of mobility and presented technological developments at the FISITA World Mobility Conference 2025, held in Barcelona, Spain, from June 3 to 5.
Hyundai Motor Company President and CEO José Muñoz delivered the Principal Speech, discussing the company’s trajectory and strategy as a mobility provider. He engaged with industry leaders on topics related to safety, sustainability, and technological advancement.
FISITA, an international organization representing automotive engineering societies in 36 countries, gathers around 2,000 industry executives and engineers for its biennial conference. Hyundai participated as a Prime Partner, contributing to technical sessions, paper presentations, and exhibitions.
The event also marked a leadership milestone, as ChangHwan Kim, Executive Vice President and Head of Electrification Energy Solutions Tech Unit at Hyundai Motor Group, began his term as the first Korean President of FISITA. His tenure will continue through May 2027.
Hyundai showcased the all-new NEXO and its enhanced fuel cell system under the theme “Clearly Committed, FCEV Technology.” The company also led technical sessions covering software-defined vehicle diagnostics, new suspension technologies for electric vehicles, and research collaborations with European partners.
Through its presence at the conference, Hyundai aims to promote academic and industrial collaboration while reinforcing its position in sustainable mobility and innovation.
