Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India launches 2025 SP125 starting at Rs. 91,771
The updated SP125 features an OBD2B-compliant engine, refreshed design, and advanced connectivity options. It is available in two variants and five color options at HMSI dealerships across India.
Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India (HMSI) has introduced the 2025 version of the SP125, a commuter motorcycle updated to comply with upcoming OBD2B regulations. Priced from Rs. 91,771 (ex-showroom Delhi), the updated SP125 features new technology, design enhancements, and additional features.
The motorcycle is powered by a 124cc single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine that produces 8 kW of power and 10.9 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed gearbox. The engine complies with OBD2B standards and includes an idling stop system designed to improve fuel efficiency during brief stops.
Speaking on the launch, Tsutsumu Otani, Managing Director, President, and CEO of HMSI, said the SP125 represents the company’s efforts to enhance the 125cc segment with upgraded features and design. Yogesh Mathur, Director of Sales and Marketing at HMSI, highlighted the bike’s focus on style, performance, and connectivity, adding that the features aim to cater to tech-savvy riders.
The 2025 SP125 includes a 4.2-inch TFT display compatible with Bluetooth connectivity and the Honda RoadSync app, providing navigation and voice assist functionality. The bike also offers a USB Type-C charging port for added convenience. Design updates include an all-LED headlamp and taillamp, aggressive tank shrouds, chrome muffler cover, and revised graphics.
The motorcycle is available in two variants, Drum and Disc, with prices set at Rs. 91,771 and Rs. 1,00,284, respectively. It is offered in five color options: Pearl Igneous Black, Matt Axis Grey Metallic, Pearl Siren Blue, Imperial Red Metallic, and Matt Marvel Blue Metallic.
