In a tribute to its founder, Hero MotoCorp, the world's largest motorcycle and scooter manufacturer, has announced the release of 'The Centennial' - a limited edition collector's motorcycle commemorating the 101st birth anniversary of Dr. Brijmohan Lall Munjal.
The announcement comes at a significant time for the Indian automotive giant, as it celebrates the completion of one year since Dr. Munjal's centennial anniversary. Dr. Pawan Munjal, Executive Chairman of Hero MotoCorp and son of the late founder, unveiled the masterpiece on July 1, 2024, emphasizing the profound impact his father had on the Indian automotive industry and beyond.
"The Centennial is not merely a landmark motorcycle; it is a memoir, written in steel and carbon fibre," Dr. Pawan Munjal stated, highlighting the bike's symbolic importance.

Only 100 units will be meticulously handcrafted, making it a true collector's item.
The motorcycle boasts impressive features, including a lightweight aluminium swingarm, carbon fibre body panels, and specially developed machined and anodised components. It's equipped with high-performance suspension systems and a custom-tuned exhaust by Akrapovic. With a kerb weight of just 158 kg, the bike promises exceptional handling and performance.
In line with Dr. Brijmohan Lall Munjal's philosophy of giving back to the community, Hero MotoCorp will auction these bikes to employees, associates, and business partners. The proceeds will be used for societal benefit, reflecting the founder's enduring values.
The company is also launching a "My Hero, My Story" campaign, inviting customers to share their experiences with the brand. Selected entries will have the chance to win one of the coveted Centennial motorcycles.
Additionally, Hero MotoCorp is celebrating with a 100-day customer and employee engagement initiative across its global network. As part of this, a limited number of customers purchasing any Hero motorcycle or scooter during this period will have the opportunity to receive 100% cashback on their purchase.
Deliveries of this exclusive motorcycle are set to begin in September 2024, marking a new chapter in the company's storied history.
