Greaves Cotton reports ₹751 crore revenue in Q3 FY25, records 13% Y-o-Y growth
Greaves Cotton saw a 13% increase in Q3 FY25, with notable growth in its engineering, retail, and subsidiary sectors.
Greaves Cotton Limited, an Indian diversified engineering company, has announced consolidated revenue of ₹751 crore for the third quarter of fiscal year 2025, marking a 13% year-on-year (Y-o-Y) increase. Standalone revenue for the quarter stood at ₹502 crore, also reflecting a 13% Y-o-Y growth.
The company's Engineering and Retail segments reported Y-o-Y growth of 14% and 13%, respectively, during Q3 FY25. Subsidiaries also contributed significantly to the financial performance. Excel reported revenue of ₹69 crore, while Greaves Electric Mobility Limited (GEML) contributed ₹184 crore to the consolidated revenue.
At the Auto Expo 2025 – The Motor Show, Greaves Cotton showcased a range of fuel-agnostic engines, components, motion control systems, and powertrain technologies, including a hydrogen-powered engine. Greaves Electric Mobility displayed electric two- and three-wheeler concepts, including Ampere Nexus and Magnus variants, along with advanced charging solutions for two-wheelers.
Nagesh Basavanhalli, Non-Executive Vice Chairman, commented, “Greaves is driving transition to a more sustainable and inclusive economy through fuel-agnostic solutions and a digitally integrated, customer-focused approach.”
Chief Financial Officer Akhila Balachandar added, “Our Q3 FY25 results reflect the strength of our diversification strategy, with the Engineering and Retail segments achieving remarkable growth of 14% and 13%, respectively.”
As it moves into 2025, Greaves Cotton remains focused on long-term value creation and continued growth, aiming to navigate market uncertainties while leading India's evolving mobility and engineering landscape.
