Godrej Enterprises Group Launches SafeLog IoT Solution for Forklift Operations
The vehicle monitoring system targets 10% reduction in downtime and 15% improvement in asset utilization.
Godrej Enterprises Group's Material Handling Equipment business launched SafeLog Vehicle Monitoring System on Wednesday, an IoT-enabled solution designed to monitor forklift operations in industrial settings. The company developed the system to reduce unplanned downtime by 10% and improve asset utilization by 15% across warehousing and intralogistics environments.
SafeLog integrates into GEG's forklift range and provides real-time operational insights, maintenance alerts, and fleet analytics. The system functions in low-connectivity environments and stores data on Indian servers to comply with data security regulations.
The IoT solution operates through web platforms and mobile applications available on Google Play Store and iOS. It delivers proactive maintenance capabilities and data-driven decision-making tools for industrial operations.
"SafeLog reflects our commitment to building intelligent, connected solutions for the material handling industry," said Anil Lingayat, Business Head, Material Handling Equipment, Godrej Enterprises Group. "It enables proactive maintenance, enhances safety, and delivers measurable value to our customers. With innovations like SafeLog, we continue to support the 'Make in India' vision while helping industries elevate their operational standards."
The company designed SafeLog with focus on usability, reliability, and scalability for industrial environments. GEG plans to add artificial intelligence capabilities to the platform within three years, targeting predictive maintenance and usage-based solutions.
The launch supports Godrej Enterprises Group's strategy to provide digitally enabled, Made-in-India solutions for industrial operations. The system addresses the increasing complexity of material handling operations in warehousing facilities.
Godrej Enterprises Group operates across five continents with businesses spanning aerospace, aviation, defense, energy, security solutions, construction, intralogistics, healthcare equipment, and consumer durables. The conglomerate has contributed to India's industrial development since 1897, manufacturing products from springless locks to refrigerators and typewriters.
The Material Handling Equipment business forms part of GEG's industrial solutions portfolio, which includes tooling, engines, motors, and IT solutions across multiple sectors.
