Force Motors Reports Strong Domestic Growth in April 2025, Export Sales Decline
Force Motors sees 41.53% domestic sales growth in April 2025, while exports decline by 87.36%.
Force Motors Limited, a leading Indian automobile manufacturer, has announced its sales figures for April 2025, revealing a significant growth in domestic sales while export numbers continue to decline.
Domestic Performance Shows Robust Growth
The company reported domestic sales of 3,210 units in April 2025, representing a substantial 41.53% increase compared to 2,268 units sold in the same month last year. This impressive growth in the domestic market follows the positive trend observed in March 2025, when domestic sales increased by 11.02% year-on-year.
Export Performance Continues to Decline
In contrast to the strong domestic performance, Force Motors' export sales have continued their downward trajectory. The company exported just 45 units in April 2025, marking a steep 87.36% decline compared to 356 units exported in April 2024. This follows a similar trend from March 2025, when exports fell by 77.62% year-on-year.
Overall Sales Performance
Despite the export challenges, Force Motors' total sales (domestic and export combined) reached 3,255 units in April 2025, showing a healthy 24.05% growth compared to 2,624 units sold in April 2024. This represents a stronger overall performance compared to March 2025, when total sales increased by only 0.87% year-on-year.
Business Focus and Recent Developments
Force Motors has been strategically focusing on its core automotive segments, including Small Commercial Vehicles (SCV), Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV), Utility Vehicles (UV), and Sports Utility Vehicles (SUV). The company officially discontinued its tractor business effective March 31, 2024, allowing it to concentrate resources on its primary automotive operations.
The March 2025 sales figures included 394 units sold against an order from the Uttar Pradesh Government for the supply of 2,429 vehicles, highlighting the company's strength in institutional sales.
Financial Performance
The company has been showing strong financial results, with consolidated net profit jumping 35% to Rs 115.31 crore in the third quarter of FY25 compared to Rs 85.40 crore in Q3 FY24. Net sales increased by 11.7% year-on-year to Rs 1,899.49 crore in Q3 FY25.
