Fiem Industries earmarks capex of Rs 250–300 crore for three years
The company had a capex of Rs 85.86 crore in FY24.
Haryana-based Fiem Industries Limited, an automotive lighting manufacturer, has earmarked a capex of Rs 250 to Rs 300 crore for the next three years, to drive future growth.
The company had a capex of Rs 85.86 crore in FY24. On a recent investor call, it said that "a lot of investments have been envisaged as we have just announced a large capex programme."
He added that some of the areas that are being looked at for future growth include the four-wheeler segment, which they claim could be a "very big" growth driver for the company. The other segments, including hub motors and others, are also talked about. The capex on hub motors will currently be for Gogoro. "Further on, once this overall facility is ready for penetration, we will work together with Gogoro to cater this motor, hub motor, and motor controller to other OEMs also."
FIEM boasts a diversified product portfolio ranging from headlamps, tail lamps, signalling lamps, roof lamps, rear view mirrors, wheel covers, warning triangles, complete rear fender assembly, frame assembly, mudguards, various automobile sheet metal and plastic parts, canisters, and bank angle sensors, among others.
